Stream of Dreams

Age Range: 5 – 18
Grades: K – 12
Registration for this program opens in Spring 2024

What is the Stream of Dreams program?

Stream of Dreams™ was created by the Stream of Dreams Murals Society in Burnaby, British Columbia when a chemical spill nearly destroyed a creek.

Stream of Dreams™ educates students and communities about Hamilton Harbour and its watershed, while dazzling them with the beauty of community art.

When a school registers for the program, the whole school participates! Students will receive a presentation developed by Stream of Dreams™ and delivered by BARC staff about fish and water conservation.

All students will paint a wooden fish, and all the fish are displayed on the school fence as a large mural.

The mural enhances the beauty of the school’s neighbourhood and acts as a reminder to protect our watershed.

* This program must be booked 4-6 months in advance.
