A recent study examined the impacts climate change may have on the future hydrology of Spencer Creek. Climate simulations were conducted in the future between 2040 and 2069, then compared to observed discharges between 1989 and 2008. Results from the climate models were then used as inputs to three hydrological models to produce projections of Spencer Creek watershed discharges. Results of the simulations show an increase in the average discharge between years and more variability in the time of year when these discharges would occur.
